Outline: 40 sec animation test; to support the application for an Animation commission for the production of the live action film “Ways to live forever”

We wanted to create the sequence that evokes child-like wonder, to see the scene, that is, through Sam’s eyes. To do this we have given the animation a certain hand-made quality that is reminiscent of children’s illustration, pop-up books and even the type of animation an adventurous eleven year old might attempt to make himself. At the same time we recognise the need for a highly refined finish and a style capable of unifying the different animated extracts.
